PTFA
Welcome to the PTFA section of our website.
Dear Parents, Guardians, School community,
On behalf of the Parent-Teacher-Family Association (PTFA), we would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and extend a warm welcome to all families, both new and returning to MTB. The PTFA is a collaborative organisation made up of parents, teachers, and family members who work together to support and enhance the educational experience for our children/pupils of MTB.
Therefore, we would like to introduce:
Chairs: Janna Sanders, Kayleigh Goodman, Lyndsey Cudmore and Millie Bickell
Treasurer: Gemma Insole
Secretary: Vacant post – Sue Goodman interim secretary.
Committee members: Melanie Mansell and Sarah Claridge.
Our mission is to foster strong relationships between families and staff while organising events, activities and fundraisers that will help enrich our children’s school life. We are committed to ensuring every parent and family member feels connected and heard. Throughout this term, we plan to hold a Halloween disco, movie night, a stall at the MTB fireworks event and a Christmas fayre, with more exciting events to come – these are provisional, and more details will follow. After this term, we will be looking at hosting events such as, a skittles evening, quiz and bingo night, a fun Mary Tavy walk with stops to keep children entertained, summer fayre and a duck race. With the funds raised, we will work with the school to enrich the children throughout the year.
Whether you can attend meetings, volunteer for events, share ideas, or support us in other ways, every contribution makes a difference in raising valuable funds to strengthen our school community. We will be truly grateful for any involvement, big or small. Please feel free to reach out to any of us with ideas/suggestions or questions, and together, we can make this year truly exceptional for our children. Thank you for being part of our school community, and we look forward to working with you all.
With best wishes,
Kayleigh, Millie, Janna, Lyndsey and the entire PTFA committee.
